A amazing poem from my web-friend..

Greatpoetrymhf's Weblog

Quietly she rose

Outwardly she was all noise and tangles

Inwardly songs and jangles.

The warrior child sang in delight

As crone she faced the night.

Singing, crying

Living, dying

quietly she rose.

After she translated

They came to dig the rose

Out of the view of the window.

Its roots were miles deep.

The roses on each side of her

Died without her beauty

They died without her singing

They died with desire of her song.

Quietly she rose

Outwardly she was all noise and tangles

Inwardly songs and jangles.

The warrior child sang in delight

As crone she faced the night.
